I am a born-again Christian living in Westminster, Vermont. I work for a residential school for at-risk children called Kurn Hattin Homes, and specifically I am a houseparent for 11 girls ages 12-14. 

I love reading any good story, but focus my reading on either mysteries and suspense (not horror) or literature (usually focusing on books I should have read in high school). I also read Christian books on occasion, preferring Max Lucado, but am very selective due to the fact there is a lot of books out there that advocate beliefs I do not hold. 

My favorite authors in no particular order are James Patterson, Patricia Cornwell, Pat Conroy, Sue Miller, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Joyce Carroll Oates, Mary Higgins Clark.  I also order a lot of teen books to share with my girls.

I am single and have a calico named Cinnamon who is part guard dog.  I also love tennis and football, walking, shopping, scrapbooking and emailing my friends.
